About Sophia

A women’s somatic practitioner with an integrative understanding of the body.
Women often choose to work with Sophia because of her unique combination of multidisciplinary training, hands-on experience, and a heart-centered, embodied approach.

Her path began with a deep curiosity about the human body. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a Doctorate in Pharmacy at UT Austin, spending years immersed in the study and science of medicine.

After more than a decade steeped in the knowledge of medicine, her work evolved into guiding women back into the medicine of their own bodies.

Her continued studies have expanded into fascial systems, abdominal and pelvic work, sensory-based practices, and somatic embodiment, alongside traditional Tantric philosophy and subtle energetic practices. Training and experience in massage therapy also helped shape her understanding of anatomy, touch, and the body’s interconnected nature.

Her approach is informed by somatic principles that honor sensation, inner cues, and lived experience as meaningful sources of insight. Rather than imposing an outcome or interpretation, Sophia creates space for women to slow down, become curious, and explore their embodied experience—from the physical and tangible to the subtle and energetic.

At the heart of her work is an invitation for women to experience more of themselves through the body—with greater ease, connection, and aliveness.
